Our teachers are our greatest asset. We foster open communication, teamwork and attention to detail required to provide superior services. Extraordinary effort is given by our employees. We will foster an atmosphere in which our caregivers feel that their work is truly valued-an atmosphere in which dedication, commitment and excellence are recognized and rewarded. We help our teachers to develop their skills and enable them to do their jobs professionally and competently.
Hugs-n-Hearts selects its full-time staff from professionals who hold a degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education or a closely related field. Our full-time teachers are not hired on as Lead Teachers/Assistant Teachers; rather, they are hired to work on an equal level and to team teach through a collaborative effort and sharing of ideas.
The majority of our part-time staff are upper-level college students pursuing a degree in the field of education.
Hugs-n-Hearts makes the reduction of staff turnover a priority by compensating our staff with additional incentives, such as comprehensive benefits and opportunities for promotion. Our goal is to make Hugs-n-Hearts
Early Learning Center a career choice for professional teachers.

Hi! My Name is Ms. Jinal and I will be the new PreK2 teacher at the North Campus! I’m really excited to be part of the Hugs-n-Heart family!
I’m originally from Philadelphia, Pa. I have a younger brother, older sister and my amazing parents. I graduated from Temple University… Go OWLS! I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. I absolutely love working with children and love to teach eager learners!
My husband and I recently moved to Columbus, OH to be closer to family! We have a handsome little boy, Rohan. He just turned one in July! He keeps us on our toes, keeps us laughing and melts our hearts every day!
Hi! My name is Miss Jen and I am beyond THRILLED to be the Kindergarten teacher at the North Campus! This will be my first year at Hugs-n-Hearts and I am blessed to be part of the family!
I was born and raised in Bellevue, Ohio. I have two brothers and one sister. Also, I am an aunt to four amazing kids! I graduated from Bowling Green State University (Go Falcons!) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. In 2011, I made the move to Columbus and started to teach in the area. I absolutely love school myself; I can’t wait to pass on my passion for learning!
In my spare time I enjoy being with my family and friends. I am an avid reader, love being outdoors in the summer, pool-side or running, and am an enthusiastic (slightly competitive) board game player.
